More beach 2

Evening walk on the beach...which usually turned into a swim for Declan.

We spent an afternoon at Ripley's Aquarium. Declan loved the people mover which took you through an aquarium that was all around you. We thought it was cool as well.

This contraption was fascinating and huge. It was moving sand on the bottom of the ocean.

Trip to Southern California

Della and John had a terrific week in Southern California (Sep 15 to 22). Our favorite family members, Fran, Merle and Jeff Gerhardt made us more than comfortable and provided many wonderful eating events which which they are famous. We visited with our young friends, Alanna and Eric Hoyer who we have known since their births and Eric's wife Susan. The 5 Hoyer dogs provided much entertainment. One highlight of the trip was our attendance at Lynwood High School, Class of 1959's 50th Year Reunion. It was a blast to see friends from long ago. It was held at the Long Beach Marriott Hotel 18 and 19 September.
