Declan attended his first Cleveland Indian's game. It was Slider's birthday (the mascot of the Cleveland Indians) and all the kids got the goofy hat.
Here are all three grandkids. Declan love spending time with his cousins.
We spent a morning playing with my friend Joann and her daughter Nora. Joann is my oldest friend, not in age, just in years. We have known each other since fifth grade. I just snicker about the hair color switch in our children!
Declan loved Uncle Shawn's hot tub (with the temperature turned way down). No bubbles of course but lots of playing around.
We spent Fourth of July in Lakewood. We watched the parade, had a picnic dinner, listened to the Lakewood Project (http://www.lakewoodproject.net/), and watched fireworks. Uncle Shawn was nice enough to loan Declan his ear protection. For those of you who don't know, Declan is a little sensitve to sound! It was his first fireworks and he loved it!
It was a great trip and now we are home enjoying the rest of our summer. Declan is enjoying Kindermusik camp and has had his first violin lesson. We are actually getting some rain here in Charlotte which is great, but keeping us inside.
