CA AND AZ FOR THE HERON GLEN KINGS




Cousin Jeff is Mr. California, living the lifestyle of the rich and famous. The three Amigos had a great time and the Lucky Lady (Aunt Fran) in the middle won a boatload of money while the rest of us held eating events. Uncle Merle was a bad influence on Della and John -- holding a wild party at the trailer at Lake Meade.

Trip to Southern California

Della and John had a terrific week in Southern California (Sep 15 to 22). Our favorite family members, Fran, Merle and Jeff Gerhardt made us more than comfortable and provided many wonderful eating events which which they are famous. We visited with our young friends, Alanna and Eric Hoyer who we have known since their births and Eric's wife Susan. The 5 Hoyer dogs provided much entertainment. One highlight of the trip was our attendance at Lynwood High School, Class of 1959's 50th Year Reunion. It was a blast to see friends from long ago. It was held at the Long Beach Marriott Hotel 18 and 19 September.
